Getting claimed, in two minutes

In Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson books, the kids at Camp Half-Blood are the children of a human and a Greek god. At some point the godly parent claims them with a sign, and they move into that god's cabin, where their half-siblings tend to share the same talents and the same bad habits. Almost every reader has wondered which cabin they would land in. This Percy Jackson cabin quiz settles it, and it doubles as a godly parent quiz, because your cabin and your parent are the same answer.

Your pick counts. The test continues from question 2.Answered. Continue in the test above.

Ten cabins you could land in

The results are ten of the twelve original cabins, the ones whose gods actually have demigod children. Zeus (Cabin 1) claims the ones a room turns to when something has to be decided. Poseidon (Cabin 3) gets the loyal ones with a temper. Demeter (Cabin 4) takes the patient caretakers. Ares (Cabin 5) wants the ones who never let a challenge slide. Athena (Cabin 6) collects the ones who already read the instructions. Apollo (Cabin 7) gets the ones who seem to pick up any talent in a weekend. Hephaestus (Cabin 9) claims the quiet ones with grease on their hands. Aphrodite (Cabin 10) takes the ones who know who likes whom before anyone says it. Hermes (Cabin 11) gets the ones who always seem to know a guy. Dionysus (Cabin 12) claims the ones nobody has ever seen stressed.

Hera (Cabin 2) and Artemis (Cabin 8) aren't on the list, because neither goddess has demigod children in the books.

No god names in the questions

A lot of Percy Jackson quizzes ask which weapon you'd carry or which god you like best, and the answer is easy to steer. This one asks about ordinary life instead: a trip that falls apart, something breaking on a Sunday, a friend who shows you work that isn't very good. Each answer gives points to one or two cabins, and whichever parent has the most points at the end claims you. If two are tied, your most recent answers decide it.

After the claiming

Your result page tells you who you are as a child of that god, what you are good at, where you get in your own way, and which cabin you'd get along with best. It describes personality, not plot, so nothing past the setup of the first book gets spoiled. Then send the link to your friends. Most groups end up with two kids of Athena arguing about the plan while one kid of Hermes has already left.

Questions about the Percy Jackson Cabin Quiz

Is this quiz connected to Rick Riordan or Disney?

No. This is an unofficial, fan-made quiz. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Rick Riordan or Disney.

How many questions are in the Percy Jackson cabin quiz?

Twelve. Most people finish in about two minutes. You can go back and change earlier answers before you submit the last one.

Which godly parents can I get?

There are ten results. You can be claimed by Zeus, Poseidon, Demeter, Ares, Athena, Apollo, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Hermes, or Dionysus. Hera and Artemis are left out because neither has demigod children in the books.

Why isn't Hades a result?

At the start of the series, the camp only has cabins for the twelve Olympian gods, and Hades isn't one of them. This quiz sticks to that setup.

Is this Percy Jackson quiz based on the books or the Disney+ series?

It works for both. The quiz only uses the basic setup of the camp, one cabin per godly parent, which readers and viewers meet right at the start. Nothing in the questions or results depends on a specific scene from either version.

How is my godly parent decided?

Each answer gives points to one or two gods. When you finish, the god with the most points is your parent. If two gods tie, your most recent answers break the tie.

Does the quiz contain spoilers?

No. The questions are about everyday situations, and the result pages describe personalities rather than plot. Nothing goes beyond the basic setup of the first book.

Do you save my answers?

No. Your answers stay in your browser while you take the quiz and are never sent to a server. We don't ask for your name, email, or age.

Can I retake the quiz?

Yes, as many times as you like. Use the Retake button on your result page, or start again from this page.
