Privacy Policy

The short version: Testmoji has no accounts, never asks for your name, email, or age, and does not send your quiz answers to a server.

Your quiz answers

While you take a test, your answers are kept in your browser's session storage so you can go back a question or pick up where you left off after a refresh. They are used on your device to work out your result and are cleared when you close the tab. We never receive them.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used: which tests are started and finished, which results are viewed, and whether share buttons are used. These events contain the test and result identifiers, not the individual answers you picked and nothing that identifies you by name. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects standard technical information such as your approximate location, device type, and referring page. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, Google Analytics is not loaded unless you have consented.

We also use a privacy-friendly, Plausible-based analytics service that uses no cookies and stores no personal data. It counts page views and the same test and result events in aggregate, so it runs everywhere, including the regions above.

Advertising

The site is supported by ads served through Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can turn off personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and you can learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before advertising cookies are used and you can change your choice at any time.

Sharing

Share buttons are plain links. Nothing is sent to X, Facebook, Reddit, or WhatsApp until you click one, and then only the result link and a short line of text.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse.

Children

Testmoji is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We do not publish tests based on content made mainly for young children.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the tests will still work. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access or delete data held about you. Because we don't keep personal data ourselves, most requests will concern Google's services, but you can always write to us and we will help.
